RulerPro was born out of a simple, everyday frustration: the lack of a truly accurate, pixel-perfect physical measurement tool inside modern web browsers. Most digital ruler tools default to a standard assumption of 96 pixels per inch (PPI). However, with the rapid growth of high-density displays—ranging from ultra-wide 4K desktop monitors to small, high-density Retina smartphone screens—the default assumption is almost always incorrect, leading to distorted measurements.
Our mission is to bridge the gap between virtual screens and the physical world. By providing real-time canvas-based rendering paired with multiple calibration techniques, RulerPro turns any screen into an exact, actual-size ruler. This tool is built entirely on modern web standards (Astro.js, HTML5 Canvas, and Vanilla CSS), ensuring lightning-fast load times, responsive interfaces, and robust client-side execution.
RulerPro is maintained and developed for designers, tailors, students, engineers, and digital craftsmen who value precision, privacy, and minimalist web aesthetics.
